Exhausted!

I completed radiation last Thursday, but have been really tired ever since. I'm not sure if the fatigue is the result of radiation being finished, or the cumulative effects of chemo. Fortunately, I get a two-week break from the chemo treatments, starting tonight. I'm hopeful I'll feel more like blogging in a few days.

When my chemo treatments resume, the dose will be more than doubled, but it's only 5 days per month! I don't really know what to expect with the increased dosage. If this is as bad as it gets, I can handle it!

Bob, I hope that the change in your chemo routine produces no ill effects. We're looking forward to having you back with us in Pasadena. You are missed!

Dear Brother Rob,

Am happy to hear that you are merely exhuasted. As bad as that is, it is something I would pick for you over so many other things.

I have an entire branch of my extended family that seems to be made up of cancer survivors; one cousin of mine, whom I am very close to, has survived three attacks, and everyone looks up to her for it.

I am going through some testing of my own these days, but thanks to people like you, I know it for what it is and take joy in knowing that God considers me worthy of it, and I look forward to what he will do with me ... and with you ... when we come out the other end, battle-scarred but stronger.

Love,
Your Brother in Yeshua in Guatemala,
Dwight Wayne Coop

Bob, I feel just awful. I had no idea that all of this had gone on! I was on vacation from 9/27 to 10/7, and just went back to the blog today. I really hope that you are feeling better. Vicki
